You move through it like a feed: one vertical episode, then the next one. Beyond the All view, the shelf splits into three sections: Candy characters, which holds most of the series, Other characters and Candy Creators.
I timed the 286 free episodes, and the final line arrived within two minutes each time, with a median near 63 seconds. Candy Shorts is vertical by design, made for a phone held upright, and the desktop player copies that shape. New series arrive over time on no fixed schedule. Playing one does not touch your chat history with any character.
Is Candy Shorts all AI?
Is Candy Shorts real? The service is, and the episodes are generated rather than filmed. The platform's 2257 exemption notice, dated February 14, 2025, says its content is entirely AI-generated. No real person is involved in creating it. Chat conversations with its characters are declared fiction too. So Candy Shorts AI videos are scenes made by software, not clips shot on a set.
A real name can still sit on a series. Creators license their likeness, and each digital twin is built in partnership with the creator, who consents to it. The twin is what you see in the episode, and no shoot with the real person took place.
The platform's content removal policy, revised July 30, 2026, calls a resemblance to a real person coincidence. The exception is a person who gave consent and usage rights for a digital version. Where to watch Candy Shorts: on Candy.ai, in the Shorts section, from a free account. Episodes 1 and 2 cost no tokens in 160 of the 175 series. Later episodes are priced from 12 to 50 tokens each, and Premium includes 100 tokens a month. My own math, with the tokens spent on episodes alone: one month's 100 covers 8 episodes at 12 tokens or 3 at 30.
