In this Candy Shorts story, Mona and her stepbrother David are adults who can't stand each other and have to share a house. In episode 1 her dad and his girlfriend are away for work, David is supposed to look after her, and each errand turns into a duel of insults. A deal over the dishes then buys a night at a club.
Two names run the show. Mona is the name the free pair says out loud, and David is the stepbrother's name from the premise, since neither free episode says it. Her dad and his girlfriend are only talked about.

Raccoon on the road
On the drive home Mona objects to the honk, someone asks if her stepbrother is leering at her, and she waves it off: he isn't her type. David is caught looking and blames a raccoon crossing the road. Mona bans him from looking again.
The episode ends with Mona retelling the ride to someone and landing on "kind of cute" and then "kind of funny."
Dishes for a night out
Episode 2 turns to the dishes. Dad's new girlfriend has asked for them to be done, and Mona tells David to do them himself. His counteroffer is a trade: she handles the dishes, he takes her clubbing. She says she doesn't want to go clubbing with her stepbrother.
The dishes get done anyway, and David says he is just enjoying the view. Her reward is a present from David for the club night. Mona asks "Do I look good?", a bold line follows, and the episode ends on "Ugh, ew, gross."
