The first line is a confession: the narrator is a married man, he did not expect to be doing this, and he could not say no to the babysitter. You know the temptation before the plot starts, so the question is how long he holds out. On Candy Shorts, that answer begins in episode 1.
A date that flaked and a ride home
The family is the Hartleys. The narrator calls Mila "our babysitter," and she tells him to stop thinking about Mrs. Hartley, so he reads as the husband, though no line names him. Mila is an adult living on her own: an apartment, a date she had been waiting on and a cab she was about to call, which is why the ride comes up at all. The setup is small on purpose: one late hour and one offer.
A ride offered, a marriage mentioned
Episode 1 starts late, with Mrs. Hartley asleep upstairs. Mila is still there, about to call a cab because her date flaked again, and the narrator tells her to skip the cab and offers to drive her home. She calls him sweet and says most men would not even offer. He answers that he is married. She asks him to come up for a bit, and when he says it is late and he should get home to check on Claire, she narrows the ask: something to hand to Mrs. Hartley, two minutes at her place, then he is free to go.
A change of clothes and a conscience
Episode 2 opens on a compliment, "Such a gentleman," over the narrator's inner voice admitting how attractive she is and swearing at himself for being there. At her place Mila tells him to get comfortable and goes to change. When he starts to say he should leave, she is back in something she says she planned to wear on the date. He manages "very nice." She urges him to put Mrs. Hartley out of his head and says the wanting runs both ways. Then a Claire gets a not now from him, and the last lines are his own: what do I do, she is our babysitter, and he cannot say no to her.
Where the language outruns the picture
The site files this one at spice level 4, Fiery, a judgment about the paid episodes, and the is-it-porn breakdown shows how the levels differ. On a free Candy.ai account I played the first two episodes and got flirting, a change of clothes and blunt language, with no nudity and no sex. The loudest thing in those two episodes is the narrator's inner monologue.
Mila, the narrator and the household
Mila is written as an adult woman with a life of her own. The narrator is a married man whose own name the free pair does not give. Mrs. Hartley comes up as the person Mila says she needs to hand something to, and Claire is a name the lines leave unexplained, so I do not guess who she is.
The tab after the free pair
Three paid episodes follow on Candy.ai, 12 tokens apiece. Premium's 100 monthly tokens cover them and leave 64 spare, by my math, and the pricing page lists the plans. Our New Babysitter shares the babysitter theme and the same shape, five episodes at 12 tokens, so either one costs 36 to finish. Logged-in accounts saw this series fifth in the featured carousel on October 19, 2026.
Cody's pick: a short temptation
Worth a swipe if you want a short temptation story and a free pair to test the tone. The series reviews have more five-episode picks.
Watch it if
- You like temptation told from the tempted man's side, with his inner voice doing the heavy lifting.
- A five-episode Candy Shorts run with a clear pivot at the paywall appeals to you.
- You want to judge the tone on two free episodes first.
Skip it if
- You want a payoff before the paywall, since episode 2 closes on his doubt.
- Blunt language in the dialogue is a dealbreaker.
- A story about a married man's temptation is not what you came for.
